I heard the humanist manifesto from 'Interval Two' before in the German 'Warum Es Eigentlich Geht' on Polycontrale Contra Punkte by Beefcake. Turns out it's from Bad Boy Bubby, a 1994 film by Rolf de Heer. Needless to say, this is an excellent album!

I'm sitting on my deck at 5:06 am; it's 52°F/11°C, humid but calm, and the stars and planets seem brighter than usual (Jupiter in particular, just risen over the trees, could almost cast shadows all on its own). I'm fortified against the cool weather with a hoodie, a snifter of vanilla cognac, and this, Helge's lovely final album... and I am at peace. I feel genuinely soothed in a way I haven't felt in such a long time. Sincere thanks to all who helped see this album through to its release.
